Davina Mackail, BA Hons, RGN, DFSNI, works as a shamanic life coach and healthier home and business expert.  She is also an experienced teacher, writer, presenter and inspirational speaker. Her passion is encouraging the magnificence of humanity and inspiring people to live from their hearts and fulfil their dreams. This has led to a life long study of the human mind, metaphysics, quantum physics, the nature of consciousness, philosophy, psychology and shamanism - a passion that is as much part of her being as breathing.

Her eclectic career history includes qualifying as a nurse and a counsellor, a stint in PR/media, director of a commercial radio station, years as a company director in the telecommunications industry and owner and CEO of a 60-seat call centre specialising in technical support for ISP’s. She discovered Feng Shui when working in Hong Kong and China in the early 1990s and now holds a Professional diploma in the practise and Spirit of Feng Shui.

Throughout her corporate years she remained committed to her parallel universe of energy work, studying and experimenting.  Indeed she has been known to up the business ante with a little Peruvian magic in the Boardroom.  It was this original passion and gift that she could no longer ignore. A transitional phase of consultant to telecoms companies ensued alongside extensive forays into the magical and mystical. The latter led her from the foothills of the Himalayas to the glacial peaks of the Andes. 

She has spent many years practising Peruvian shamanism and has had the great fortune to have worked with some powerful and gifted teachers along her journey.  She has discovered that her real passion and talent is the ability to translate dense, inaccessible esoteric information into pragmatic solutions that work in the modern world.  She is a Master practitioner in Hypnotism, Time Line Therapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming and believes the language we use has enormous creative and symbolic purpose. 

She had a syndicated astrology column in over a 100 regional newspapers and has been a source of feng shui tips and healthy home information for a number of regional radio stations including LBC, BBC London, Hertfordshire and Kent.  She’s also featured in Eve magazine, Good Housekeeping and Harpers Bazaar

Davina has worked extensively as a travel journalist and is a contributing author for Do it Yourself  Psychic Power by Natalia O’Sullivan and Janey Lee Grace’s Imperfectly Natural Home and is currently writing a book on the Power of Dreams

Her training in Feng Shui led to her first TV credits with Ann Maurice, Five’s House Doctor and she currently teaches “feng shui for buying and selling property" for Ann Maurice Seminars. She has since gone on to ITV1’s This Morning as well as monthly guest appearances on FIVE’s The Wright Stuff .
